Quality of Life
According to the Human Development Report 2005, Botswana ranks 4th on the Human Development Index (DHI) in the SADC region. HDI is a composite index measuring average achievement in three basic dimensions of human development - a long healthy life, knowledge and a decent standard living. Botswana has been ranking above most SADC countries in terms of measure.
